Using a double boiler, add 2 inches of water into the bottom pot and heat to a slow simmer. (Or a heat safe bowl fitted over a pot with 2 inches of water.) Add the white chocolate chips to the top pot (or heat safe bowl) and melt. Stir in half the marshmallows and let them almost melt. Next stir in half the peanuts and then half the Cracker Jacks.
While hot, pour the mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and spread with a rubber spatula. Quickly sprinkle on the rest of the Cracker Jacks, peanuts, and pretzels. Give them a gently press into the mixture.
*If you are using the melted butterscotch chips, dollop spoonfuls on just before sprinkling on the Cracker Jacks, peanuts, and pretzels.
Cool completely, cut, and serve. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
Notes
Tips For Melting White ChocolateChop the white chocolate into even pieces or use chips to help melt the chocolate evenly. Melted white chocolate will seize (become grainy) when it comes in contact with liquid. Add any flavorings once the chocolate is melted.
