Instructions
Whisk the brown sugar, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, black pepper and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
Heat the oven to 375° F.
Cook the ground beef or ground chicken and onions over medium heat until no pink remains and the meat crumbles. Drain off as much grease as possible and place the skillet back on the heat.
Add the tomato sauce, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and the spice mixture to the meat and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat.
Place the bottom halves of the slider rolls in the bottom of a 9 X 11 baking dish. Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded cheese onto each bun. Next, top with the warm sloppy joe mixture, two sweet pickles, and then rest of the cheese. Place the top half of the slider bun over the cheese layer. Brush the tops of the buns with the melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until buns are lightly toasted and the cheese has melted.
Serve! If you are tailgating, cover tightly for travel.
