Add the chocolate chips in a heatproof microwave safe bowl. Place in the microwave and heat in 15 second intervals stirring in between each.
TWO: Stove Top
Fit a heat proof bowl into a pot. Add 2 inches of water to the pot and bring to a slow simmer. Reduce the heat to low. Place the chocolate chips in the pre-fitted bowl. The water should not touch the bowl. Stir the chocolate until melted.
Dip/coat the 3/4 of the pretzel rods/sticks in the melted chocolate. Decorate the hot melted chocolate quickly and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Notes
Substitute chocolate chips with candy wafers in fun colors.
Avoid letting water get into white chocolate. It becomes chalky and will not melt properly. Food coloring is not a match for white chocolate chips. Use candy wafers instead.
