Easy Georgia-Style Boiled Peanuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds peanuts, raw and in shell, rinsed
  • 3/4 - 1 cup Kosher salt
  • 14 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add the water and salt to an 6-quart slow-cooker and give it a stir to dissolve the salt.
  • Add the peanuts, and gently press them down into water and give them a stir.
  • Cook for 18 hours on high or until soft. Drain and serve. 

Notes

Store in a ziplock in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
