Easy Crock Pot Salty Boiled Peanuts Recipe

Boiled Peanut Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds raw peanuts in the shell or freshly dug green peanuts, rinsed (Note: make sure your peanuts aren’t roasted.)
  • 3/4 – 1 cup Kosher salt
  • 14 (+/-) cups water

Boiled Peanut Instructions

Add the water and salt to an 6-quart slow-cooker and give it a stir to dissolve the salt.

Add the peanuts, and gently press them down into water and give them a stir.

Cook for 18 hours on high or until soft. Drain and serve.

Party tip: Prepare Ahead!

Boiled Peanuts can be served hot or cold! Scoop them straight out of the crock pot into fun bowls and or let them cool, scoop them into ziplock bags,

These beauties can be stored in a sealed bag for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Party tip: Spice It Up!

Add 3 (+/-) tablespoons of red pepper flakes to the water or 1/2 cup Old bay Seasoning. MMMMM!
