Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces of whole cream cheese 2 blocks
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Retro: bottled lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce Frank's is my favorite!
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcheshire sauce
  • 1 small white or yellow onion grated and drained. (Squeeze with clean hands to remove juice or place between 3 paper towels and squeeze.)
  • 8 ounces canned shrimp or 2 cups roughly chopped fresh boiled shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup thing sliced green onions
  • zest of 1 fresh lemon

Instructions
 

  • Using a hand mixer on medium high, cream the mayonaise and the cream cheese until completely smooth. Next on medium low speed, mix in the lemon juice, hotsauce, worcheshire sauce, grated onion. Add in the shrimp and mix until combined.
  • Scoop the Retro Shrimp Dip into a bowl, Sprinkle on the lemon zest and then the green onions. Serve with saltine crackers, Ritz Crackers, Club Crackers or Ruffles Potato Chips.
