Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix or 3 cups of your favorite powdered brownie mix
  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 2 tablespoons 100% cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes crushed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir until combined.
  • Use an ice cream scoop, to dollop mounds fo the cookie dough to the prepared pan.
  • Wet the bottom of a glass and press each mound with gentle pressure. The goal is to flatten just to disc form.
  • Bake the cookies for 13 to 17 minutes.
  • Cool on a baking rack.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
