Hi! My comment seems to have gotten lost. What is the actual size of the pop tart in inches? And have you made them in any other flavors?
Thank you!
Marla
Hello! The pop tarts are 2″ X 3″. Of course you can cut them any size your like. Great question! Have a great Monday! -gwyn
Hi! Sorry if you get this message twice. What are the dimensions of each pop tart? Asking because I will not be using premade pie crusts. Have you made them with other flavors of jam? I’ll be making these for a fancy tea! The ladies will love them! Thanks so much!
Great question! I will add this to the post!!!! THANK YOU! (I know I am answering twice. 🙂 I am responding top to bottom this morning. 🙂
The pop tarts are 2″X 3″. You can customize for your tea tower. Just keep an eye on them for a golden brown crust.
I have made them with many flavors of jam. It depends on the season. Pumpkin spice is great in the fall but a house fave is blurberry!!!! When you make the icing just add a touch for even more flavor.
I appreciate the question. I would love to see photos! Happy Monday! -gwyn
How are these stored? Fridge? Freezer? Counter top?
Hi There! Store these in an airtight container for 5 days in the refrigerator. Bake them at 325°F for 10 minutes before serving. Wrap them in plastic wrap individually and then in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Thaw and heat like above! Happy Pop Tart Making to YOU! …And thank you for the question. I will add this to the post. 🙂 gwyn
I presume the beaten egg is added as a wash on the sealed pop tart before baking?
It is! Happy Pop Tarting YOUR WAY TODAY!
