Vintage Earbobs: DIY Clip-ons to Posts
This lovely collection of vintage earbobs, necklaces and broaches were given to me by my dear friend Stephanie. Thrilled at the sparkly stones and pearls, I could hardly wait to start styling them into my daily wardrobe.
Have you ever worn a pair of clip earbobs? OUCH! I am not certain how ladies wore these for long periods of time? I suppose it is like a pretty pair of heals you love that hurt your feet. …You suffer right through it in the name of fashion. Well, this DIY is a solution to the pinch of the clip-on earbob.

What you need:
8 mm gold or silver earring posts with flat pad and clutch
small jewelry pliers
E6000 glue, clear
- Using the wire cutters and the pliers, carefully remove the clips from the backs of your earrings to create a flat surface.
- Place a tiny dab of E6000 on the back a flat pad.
- Place the flat pad to the back surface of your earbob.
- Let the glue dry completely.
