Spicy Honey Rosemary Pecans!
My mother sent me this recipe via text last week and claimed that these savory-sweet pecans are addictive as well as absolutely delicious. I gave them a whirl adding a dash of spice. She was right! You can’t stop eating them.
These Spicy Honey Rosemary Pecans are perfect for an on-the-go snack, for a cheese board, or for a game day favorite.
You might consider doubling the recipe. I was not kidding about addictive. My husband, had the first batch gone before the second came out of the oven.
2 cups pecan halves
2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
1 tablespoon sea salt, flaked
1/3 teaspoon ground pepper
3 stems rosemary
4 tablespoons honey
1 dash of cayenne pepper
parchment lined baking sheet
Preheat Oven to 325 degrees
Melt the butter in a saucepan and remove from the heat. Add the salt, pepper, and cayenne to the butter. Stir. Place the pecans, rosemary, and honey in a bowl. Pour the melted butter mixture over the pecans. Mix well. Pour the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees until toasted. Cool.
Put them in a darling dish. Voilà, you have yourself a delicious snack. Enjoy!
