I am using Lovely Book pages to make A Simply Beautiful Wreath and Garland.

Sparkle! Sparkle! XX-gwyn

A fun fact! Living close to the infamous town of Fork’s Washington, home of Twilight’s Cullen’s and Black’s, I chose to use my Twilight books to make my leaves.

Supplies:

old books
leaf templates (free printable below)
2 inch floral greening pins
wired acorns
12 inch foam wreath form (wreath only)
natural jute twine (garland only)
hole punch (garland only)

Wreath Directions:

Print (free printable below) and cut the leaf templates out. Tear book pages out being sure to stay as close to the book seam as possible.

Place a leaf template on top of three pages and cut them out. You only need three leaves.

Group the three leaves together and twist in a couple of wired acorns to them at their stems. Set Aside.

Cut out 6″ x 6″ square book pages. Fold each square in half, and then in half again. Push a greening pin into the center of each square. Starting on the edge of the foam wreath form, press the pinned folded squares into the wreath. Repeat until you have filled the wreath.

Note: You only need to cover the front and the inner and outer edges of the wreath form. The back should remain flush in order to hang flat.

To finish, use a greening pin to attach the leaf and acorn bundle into the top center of your wreath.

When you complete the desired length of your garland, twist a few acorns in the center of every couple of leaf groupings.
